Customer Service Representative-Dallas, Texas

Salary: up to 32K plus incentives

 

 

Position Summary:

The Client Service Representative will handle all inbound internal and external client calls and questions relating to DealerTrack’s software and hardware products. This position involves almost constant communication and interaction with those entities via phone and PC utilization, as well as consistent documentation of nearly all interactions, including accurate and detailed case logging. 

The Client Service Representative is an entry-level position is based in Dallas, Texas, however, will support the Downers Grove, Illinois office. DealerTrack will provide an extensive training program, and this person must be willing to travel to the Downers Grove office during the initial training period.

This person must be flexible to work a schedule between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays. Team members will rotate Saturdays throughout the month.

Job Duties:

  • Handle all internal and external customer calls and questions relating to DealerTrack's software and hardware products provided to our customers
  • Resolve all issues within 24 hours of the day that they are received in a professional manner
  • Provide various levels of troubleshooting assistance to clients
  • Escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate Level 2 Customer Support group, and take responsibility for learning what steps the Level 2 Customer Support Representative followed to resolve the issue, thereby increasing the CSRs knowledge of troubleshooting
  • Communicate any outstanding and/or critical issues, including customer concerns, immediately to the Manager and/or assigned Team Lead

Requirements:

·                     High school diploma or equivalent

·                     Minimum of one to two years experience in Customer Service

·                     Proficient working knowledge of troubleshooting software and hardware issues strongly preferred

·                     Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

·                     Must be able to demonstrate high degrees of efficiency, organization and motivation in work habits

·                     Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work well with team members and management

·                     Must possess excellent prioritization skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
