Brief Description
As a member of the Cluster Storage Management team you will be working on software that manages and monitors the various hardware and software components of the Panasas Storage System. The team is responsible for software that manages the hardware components based on input from the administrator. It also works with engineers from other areas to develop the user interface for new software features as well as new hardware.

Summary

Responsibilities
Design and Develop new functionality.
Develop unit and system tests and execute them prior to handing off code to the QA team
Resolve bugs found by QA and in the field.
Work with Service team to make sure that new features can be easily maintained and serviced.
Participate in the training of QA and the service teams on new features that have been developed by the team.
Work on high priority/critical issues found at customer sites.
Experience/Qualifications:
Over 3 years professional experience in software development
Extensive knowledge of C/C++, multi-threading, distributed systems
Unix shell scripting skills
Pluses:
Knowledge of Tcl/Expect scripting
Experience with web servers, HTML, and/or JavaScript
Experience with XML
Experience with protocols: SNMP, SMTP, SMS
Experience with SSH host key management
Experience with IPv6
Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
