Position Purpose:
To assist the Director of Marketing in driving the launch of new products, evaluating market conditions, conducting customer research, compiling and analyzing competitor data, implementing marketing strategies and developing marketing collateral.
Job Responsibilities:
•Conceive and develop marketing communications materials to promote product sales
•Conduct market research to accurately scope market requirements for existing and future products; interface with partners and analyze market data to determine the same
•Competitive intelligence: research , analyze and monitor industry financial, technological and demographic factors to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities
•Coordinate and track the advertising and exhibition activities of the company as well as providing the same support to partners
•Contribute to product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
•Assist the Director of Marketing in the shaping of the product development process across multi-disciplinary groups from product requirement definition to engineering scoping to product release; actively gauge progress to date, offer solutions to mitigate delays and shepherd teams across the finish line
•Work closely with aftermarket sales and OEM groups to conceive strategic marketing approaches and implementation
•Document progress and changes to Company's Product Strategy Roadmap
•Explore ways of improving existing products and services to increase profitability
•Assist in developing and communicating marketing strategies for new product introduction, sales promotional programs and partnership campaigns
•Plan and execute outbound marketing activities related to product launch, brand promotion, web presence, collaterals and trade shows
•Visit partners and attend trade shows as necessary
Competencies:
•Proven experience in customer and market research
•Self-starter who is able to work independently and develop processes where none may exist
•Ability to analyze market and financial data such as budgets, forecast, expenses and projections
•Proven track record of product launches and go-to-market activities for high technology products
•Proficiency in Adobe or other communications material development software experience a plus
Experience:
•5+ years of marketing experience in a high-technology industry
•Proven track record of executing marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives
•Experience managing technology products throughout the product lifecycle
•Demonstrated understanding of customer, market dynamics and requirements
•International business background related to emerging markets
•Knowledge of agriculture industry preferred
Education:
•Business or Marketing related degree
Travel:
•Up to 30%
