Inside Sales Rep – CA
Job Description:
Main job duties include lead generation, cold calling and sales. This position requires an aggressive and enthusiastic personality who can articulate Nexenta´s value proposition to executive level decision-makers across all industries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Understand Nexenta´s product strengths, functionality, positioning, competition and apply that understanding to a prospect´s specific business needs and pain points
•Understand our product and service offerings
•Engage resources and people within Nexenta to ensure successful relationships with Channel Partners and end users
•Consistently achieve, as a minimum, sales targets
•Develop and maintain internal relationship with key supporting functions within Nexenta
•Leadership of cross functional teams as required.
•Effectively manage all customer interactions
•Contact potential customers and up sell opportunities from contacts/customers identified as a result of partner relationships
•Research assigned territories for target accounts and senior contacts
Experience:
•Minimum 3 years of previous software industry sales experience.
•Personal attributes including: positive outlook, self-motivated, good attention to detail, and strong follow through on assigned tasks.
Skills:
•Enthusiasm, discipline and good communication skills are the most essential requirements
•Three to five years successful experience in an outbound sales environment is a must
•Great verbal and written communication skills
•Attention to detail and follow-up skills, including consistent use of our CRM to record and track activity
•Experience calling on senior executives at all sizes of organizations
•Ability to organize and prioritize work independently
•Ability to research and think creatively to uncover new account leads
•Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
•MUST have Data Storage Experience
