The SuccessFactors System Administrator (SSA) supports ongoing client delivery for performance management through issue resolution, change requests, and standardized processes that contribute to achievement of Service Levels (SLAs or RSIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position involves heavy client interaction and vendor management to ensure seamless process delivery. The SSA could be asked to lead projects and draft change requests (CRs). The SSA will identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis and problem solving skills and then implement solutions. This role will lead and sponsor process creation, improvement initiatives, and changes within the practice. You may work across multiple areas of the business with implementation managers, account managers, finance leads and other colleagues.

Practice Knowledge

* Educate clients while serving as a subject matter expert for performance management

* Support, lead, or ensure the standardization of processes in accordance with Aon Hewitt best practices

* Identify and implement ideas for improving the practice-specific offer and methodologies

* Provide feedback on new products, services and projects

Client Relationship Management

* Supports requirement sessions and user acceptance testing for both implementation and on-going processes as required

* Communicate effectively with the client and internal partners for analysis/resolution

* Participate in meetings to discuss issues identified that impact service delivery

* Lead client interaction and facilitation on client touch-points

Ongoing Operations

* Work with third-party providers (both Aon Hewitt partners and client partners) to ensure seamless process delivery

* Identify and resolve escalations or complex issues using problem solving skills with strong emphasis on associated patterns, trends, and root cause analysis

* Determine when inquiries are beyond the scope of responsibilities of Aon Hewitt and/or the team and escalate as appropriate

* May be responsible for peer audits

* Assist with documentation and lead or support maintenance of release notes and training

* Support offshoring initiatives

* Support formal internal and external audits

* Encourage application of the service delivery model by challenging requested custom functionality and offering alternative solutions

* Properly research and document a system defect with guidance

* Responsible for daily execution/processing for aligned business unit

Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification
* BA, BS in Business, or equivalent degree or work experience required
Knowledge & Experience
* 3-5 years of work experience in performance management processes
* Experience with project/implementation work
* Advanced understanding of client requirements and possess ability to provide advice and counsel
* Ability to identify and close gaps in processes and procedures within and across practice areas
* Intermediate client communication skills required
* Ability to apply project methodology
* Domain-specific expertise including best practices and delivery model
* Support internal and external controls
* Demonstrated influencing skills
* Intermediate understanding of Workflow Management and related reports
Technical Skill
* 2+ years SuccessFactors Performance Management System experience preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge and experience with tools such as Advanced Query Tool (AQT) or Microsoft Access a plus
* Aon Hewitt Technology Process Library (AHTPL) methodology/tools or other formal project management methodology tools is preferred
* Location: The Woodlands, TX Virtual applicants will be considered
* Requires the ability to interact with others in multiple locations globally This may require flexible hours
* Occasional evening and weekend work to meet business needs
* Frequent computer use at a workstation for extended periods of time
* Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
* Travel 15%
