Finance Manager w/Pharma Sales & Marketing exp position w/MBA &/or CPA –

Finance Manager - Sales & Marketing
Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, & manage budget & forecast for commercial operations; provide explanations on variances & define implications & recommendations for the business area.
- Develop & track budget at a project level – track actuals against budget at a project/commitment/PO level.
- Prepare regular monthly & ad hoc reports to include actual results, comparison to established target levels, & forecasted estimates.
- Prepare presentations for Finance & Sales Management
- Analyze operating performance & develop & communicating recommendations to improve performance
- Assist w/ sales & expense comments for sales & marketing departments for corporate finance.
- Prepare month end journal entries including sales & marketing accruals based on supporting documentation.
- Perform special projects as requested by various members of the sales & marketing management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required. MBA &/or CPA strongly preferred
- MUST have at least 3+ years of commercial (sales & marketing) branded pharmaceutical experience.
- Superior financial & analytical skills & a proven track record of professional, academic, & personal achievement.
- Financial & analytical skills including budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, economic modeling & reporting
- Superior Excel Skills – V-lookups & Pivot Tables
- PowerPoint experience w/ Business Objects & Excel data.
- Strong quantitative & analytical abilities
- Knowledge of key strategic & operational drivers in the branded pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
