[KITlist] CONTR: Licensing Marketing Program Manager (San Jose, CA)

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a strategic consultant with experience and expertise in software buying programs (traditionally volume licensing) to create a worldwide buying program marketing plan for our client in the South Bay. Candidates must be able to commit to working 32 hours per week through the end of 2013. In this role, the consultant will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop and deliver an FY13 buying program marketing plan which considers current buying practices and provides for an actionable transition to the next generation of buying practices. The ideal consultant is a high-impact individual contributor and a consummate collaborator with desired buying/ licensing experience working with buying models, superb communication skills, a positive outlook and a "can do" attitude.


Specific responsibilities include:

* Come up to speed quickly on buying programs done historically at the client and buying as it is envisioned for the next generation

* Develop and deliver a worldwide FY13 plan for its buying program which identifies a solid strategic direction and top priorities

* Develop and deliver messaging for the new generation of buying programs

* Develop and deliver a comprehensive outbound communications plan to launch new buying programs, including review of current communications tools and provision of marketing input to update sales tools and customer-facing assets

* Develop and deliver materials appropriate to buying tiers

* Develop and deliver the web refresh which communicates the new generation of buying programs

* Develop and deliver end-of-life communication plans as needed

* Manage the localization of all strategies and communications for the global community affected by any buying program changes in FY13

* Manage quarterly buyer program marketing budget


Skills:

* 5 – 8 years of high-tech marketing experience, including product marketing

* An appropriate depth and mix of enterprise, field and channel marketing experience is required

* Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication coupled with strong presentation skills

* Team player with proven track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams, including a strong ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally, as well as develop strong relationships with internal/external customers and channel partners

* Understanding of the dynamics of the volume licensing industry (terms, standard policies, commonalities)

* Adobe experience and an understanding of Adobe buying programs (traditional volume licensing) offerings preferred

* Subscription marketing experience a big plus!

* Must have a broad understanding of the marketing mix and the ability to grasp high-level strategy and build programs and activities to support it

* Ability to manage logistics and tactical details with flawless execution

* Ability to prioritize and manage—under deadline--multiple simultaneous projects

* Financial analysis and metrics reporting skills highly desirable; strong business and financial acumen, including experience working with and managing budgets

* Self starter with ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

* Bachelors degree required


Rate: Salary D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford group; benefits available

Location: Mostly onsite (may be some offsite flexibility) at client offices in San Jose, CA

Hours/duration: Start Date: 03/29/2013 – 12/31/2013
