[JimsJobs] CLIENT NEEDS ASAP SharePoint 2010 Developer.

is in search of a SharePoint 2010 Developer.
Project: Migration of the existing SharePoint 2007 portal sites to SharePoint 2010. The sites are intranet/internet facing.

Technical Environment : MOSS 2010, ASP .Net 4.0, C#.Net, Web Services, Windows Workflow Foundation , MS SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2008, SharePoint Designer 2010, DocAve, Powershell.

Description: The sites are heavily customized – Site definitions, features, master pages, event handlers, SSRS Reports, webparts, application pages, webservices, AJAX, site content types/site columns, workflows. The migration involves upgrading the .net solutions to match to the SP2010 standards.

Responsibilities:

• Upgrading the MOSS 2007 database.
• Attaching the database to the web application.
• Studying the error logs and finding the custom site definition, features required for the site.
• Deploying custom solutions. Using WSP comparator to compare the solution packages between PRD and TFS server.
• Using ULS viewer to fix the error on the sites.
• Using TFS for development.
• Creating master pages, css and package them into a solution.
• Creating custom site definition features.
• Creating and deploying web services.
• Creating user profile service application and custom user properties.
• Working on ajax autocomplete extender, jquery to hide controls, webpart changes etc.
• Configuration of SSRS reporting service.
• Making web.config changes.
• Performing Visual Upgrade.
• Using powershell and stsadm utility.
• Creating the upgrade document.
• Deploying solutions to the UIT, SIT and PRD
