Job Description
Consultants provide professional consultation and analytic support for projects. Consultants provide general support to Principals, Principles, and Senior Consultants. Consultants have a general understanding of the relationship between HR programs and activities and the organization's successful mission accomplishment.
Work involves developing and maintaining productive collaborative work relationships and assessing and responding to apparent and underlying client needs. Consultants interpret policies and practices in context of the client's needs and in alignment with the organization's best interests and provide project leads with information with which they can advise clients regarding decisions that are impacted by laws, policies, and procedures.
Consultants may participate in policy, service, and/or program development. Consultants research, facilitate, develop and document innovative solutions to human capital challenges tailored to the requirements of the client and the organization.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Works as a team member on client projects as well as internal initiatives
· Works with more senior level consultants to identify and determine solutions to client issues
· Provide research and analytical support to clients and Camden Delta team members
· Supports client relationships based on the firm's strategic plan and client/account relationship strategy.
· Provides thought leadership and subject matter expertise on client engagements
· Promotes the Camden Delta brand through defined marketing channels aligned to the firm's marketing strategy.
· Contributes to firm long-term and short-term profitability and financial targets.
Performance Metrics
· Revenue Generation of $50,000 or greater depending on balanced scorecard objectives and defined goals.
· Targeted Billable Utilization of 40-50%.
· Contribute to firm associate engagement to match or exceed "Best Company" engagement levels.
Minimum Requirements
· Demonstrated ability to fulfill client requirements
· General understanding of the ROI on human capital, organization strategy and design, competency modeling, change management, workforce planning and transformational change experience
· General knowledge of federal laws in assigned HR program area(s), demonstrated by the ability to consider relevant legal requirements in proposed client solutions
· Knowledge of mathematics, basic statistics, software applications, databases, and related tools pertinent to work functions
· Ability to travel up to 50%
· Ability to work independently in a non-traditional (virtual) office setting
· Ability to work on client site, as required
· Ability to function within a group/team via conference calls, web conferencing, etc. as required
· Bachelors Degree
Preferred Requirements
· 3-5 years experience in human capital, organizational development, change management, workforce planning and development, and competency modeling
· GPHR, SPHR, HCS, SWP, PMP, or other relevant professional certification
