Hiring entry level outside sales executive for a growing tech start up
*Territory will initially cover San Francisco to South San Jose but open to expansion based on the specific sales opportunities.
*Existing accounts based in New Mexico, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, Oakland and San Jose will be transferred to the new hire. Any new sales from the point of assignment will be credited to the new hire.
*Outside sales executive is expected to combine related experience in local-merchant advertising with respective
connections to build partnerships.
*The potential candidate will have the ability to adapt and speak with various types of companies including auto dealerships, gas stations, restaurants, theaters, spas, and everything in between. We�re looking for someone that isn�t afraid to cold call, make sales presentations and can build solid, long lasting relationships.
*We're looking for a self-starter that understands the hard work and drive needed to succeed in a start up environment.
*Sales presentation materials will be provided as well as initial training in order to get started. In addition to generating your own leads, you will be given company driven leads and marketing support to help build your territory.
Requirements:
• A minimum of one year outside sales experience
• Possess a skill set as a successful hunter, closer and marketer
• Ability to generate leads and build a territory
• Self-starter who is driven to succeed and enjoys thinking of ways to help clients reach their specific goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma/GED required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customers' needs
• Experience cold calling various types of local businesses, with evidence of consistent past and current success

We make it easy for our clients to offer brand name third-party rewards to customers who make a purchase, try a new service or engage in other desired customer behaviors. Rewards are delivered upon completion of a specific, measurable, and worthy goal. Clients can send these rewards to customers via email, text or if they so choose, a physical card. We can also automate the entire reward delivery process via our API. These rewards have high perceived value to customers at low actual costs to our clients.
We are headquartered in Santa Clara, CA and are currently expanding and recruiting an outside sales person that has the ability to grow the initial business and progress career wise as the company expands. We're also fine with an individual contributor with an existing Rolodex and the drive to succeed. The bottom line with any successful start up is growth happens very fast. Hiring people that can bring on initial customers, adapt to change and potentially help manage that growth is essential.
The compensation package for the right candidate will include a base of $32K with a highly achievable commission plan. A successful candidate will have no problem driving their overall total compensation package into the $50-$60K range.
Based on the success of the candidate over the first 90 days, they'll be eligible for stock options tied to their performance. Zenclusive as a company recognizes and rewards hard work, dedication and in this case, sales performance.
