Inventory/Accounting Analyst position w/SAP exp for International Paper -Memphis, Tennessee
Below you will find a summary overview of the skill requirements for
this position:
• Overall working accounting knowledge, General Ledger
responsibilities along with monthend Journal Entry preparation.
• Intermediate Excel skills are required. Spreadsheet preparation
along with analysis among required duties.
• Primarily involved in inventory control responsibilities, working
with production and order scheduler.
• Monthly inventory usage results along with audit requirements for
packaging and waste shipments.
• Will need to generate reports from our report writer tool. Basic
logical understanding of how a report writer works along with being able
to think through to the end result of the report requirements.
• SAP experience would be advantageous
• Report writer experience would also be advantageous
Below is a listing of a variety of more specific duties that would be
part of the position:
Inventory Control
• Review of daily production processing downtime for discrepancies.
• Monitor off-quality production for rework or as waste shipments.
• Generate production result information reports from Business
Warehouse (BW) Report Writer.
• Relieve perpetual inventory for waste shipments, when applicable.
• Responsible to verify waste shipments have been invoiced
accurately.
• Maintain overview of inventories being performed to validate
compliance to IP procedures.
• Responsible for all Outbound/Inbound Bill Of Ladings.
• Responsible to process any shipment inaccuracies in current
database system.
• Monitor inventory for aging/obsolete/damage/etc
Accounting
• Work with Controller during month end processing. Prepare JE’s.
• Work with Controller during annual budget preparation process.
Assist in development of budget $’s, tonnage, waste, etc.
• Work with Controller during annual standard pricing development
process.
Hourly Payroll
• Backup to processing weekly hourly payroll for 55 employees.
