Based in San Jose, CA, our Worldwide Sales Team seeks a Director, Worldwide Sales Operations to manage activities and provide direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales operation services and support to internal and external customers.
Reporting to the EVP, WW Sales & Support, the ideal candidate will maintain very strong relationships with the global sales team to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions.
Additional responsibilities include:
*Working with Marketing, Operations and Finance Departments to develop, administer and improve the company's worldwide sales forecast.
*Organizing financial modeling for sales department working closely with finance team.Manages budgeting, planning, and optimizes the activities & performance of the current sales operations team.
*Reviewing capital expenditures and analyzing sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment
*Enhancing and maintaining the sales force automation system, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses
*Analyzing operational processes, escalation procedures and performing training needs assessments to identify opportunities for service delivery improvements and value add to the customer/clients.
Core competencies:
*Deep understanding of the selling process & sales management practices
*Solid experience & track record in Sales Operations
*Good judgment & leadership skills with the ability to drive cross functional teams and processes
*Assessing & developing talent.
*Strong project management and highly organized individual
*International business experience
*Strong work ethic and high integrity
Experience required for this key role:
*Bachelor's Degree in a technical or financial discipline, MBA preferred; solid financial background
*US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required
*Previous field sales experience preferred
*Minimum of 10 years experience in a technology company successfully leading sales operations team & systems integrations
*The ability to think strategically, and increase sales productivity and forecast accuracy by utilizing Salesforce.com to its fullest extent
*The ability to work effectively cross functionally at senior levels in the organization
*The ability to influence customer service and services efficiency through collaboration
