Responsible for the development and performance of all Marketing activities of out client. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and sellers. Build the marketing strategies for our customers enhancing their brand and increasing their revenues.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Others duties may be assigned.

•            In the context of our strategic vision, build a Marketing Plan for the client that encompasses the optimal marketing channels and customer market niches.

•            Optimize the website for Inbound Marketing and SEO.  Works with the outside developer/writer to build a site that represents the true culture and capabilities of our company present and future.  Keep the website updated.

•            Produce collateral that is in alignment with our new website.  Work with the sales team to prepare and manage the development of presentations, proposals and marketing services collateral.

•            Capably execute the clients brand positioning across appropriate online and social media channels.

•            Build and execute an Outbound Marketing and PR plan for the company. We must tell our story and where we are headed on a consistent and timely basis to identify customers effectively.  This includes trade show exhibiting, advertising, and lead generation.

•            Build relationships to compliment the marketing needs.  Contact outside resources to implement areas outside of our expertise while maintaining the best margins possible.

•            Build better ways to present our services, utilizing case studies and demos, etc. 

•            Work with the sales team and attend sales calls to represent and gain knowledge of the marketing needs of our clients.

•            Help build the marketing execution strategy for our clients and implement that strategy bringing success to the campaign.

••          Determine the best measurement tools to provide accurate and meaningful reporting on the campaign strategies built for our clients.

•            Assist in building the pricing structure for the new services of client campaign strategy, social media and other new methods of marketing.

•            Prepare and manager the development of presentations, proposals and marketing services collateral.

•            Maintain a library of presentations for easy access by other team members.

•            Research, develop and write copy for materials as assigned.

•            Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

•            Conducts periodic reviews with all Sellers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Seller's sales and activity performance.

•            Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance on key metrics.

•            Maintains accurate record of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by Business Development Managers.

•            Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.

•            Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

•            Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

•            Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

 

Supervisory Responsibilities – No supervisory responsibility until department is developed.

Education and/or Experience - 4 years of experience in diverse marketing positions.  College degree. Experience with successful b to b marketing functions in complex organizations.  Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.  Willingness to travel and work with a regional team of professionals.  Proven leadership and ability to drive sales team success.

Technical Skills and/or Experience - Fully functional with all aspects of inbound and outbound marketing, non-technical web development, market analysis, and process improvement, .  Functional efficiency in Microsoft Office software applications. Excellent knowledge of concepts in order to perform tasks listed under Essential Duties and Responsibilities, above.  Strong working knowledge of budgeting techniques, project costing techniques, financial controls and business case analysis.  Strong customer orientation.

Communication Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.  Ability to write routine reports, client (RFQ's) Request for Quotes and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients and/or employees of the organization. Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in performing key activities and supervise their work.  Team working ability to enable effective interaction with and motivation of other team members, including peers.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs of various types.   

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in non-routine situations.  Ability to set and meet deadlines including a strong ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time.
