Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Channel Marketing Communications consultant for a full time assignment with our high tech client located in the San Jose area. The duration of this assignment is through the end of 2013. We are looking for candidates with experience in the high tech security (IT) sector who have go-to-market experience developing marketing communications targeting the end user, the channel and partners. The focus of this assignment will be product launches, campaigns, global programs and more. Must be strong in improving open rates and click throughs.
It is critical for the successful candidate to have a proactive mindset for communications planning and how to fine tune content for partner and end user care abouts, concerns and motivators. The ideal consultant will be able to prioritize projects and "turn on a dime" to actively accommodate important communications and engage the right stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Provide go-to-market sales support, posting marketing assets for Sales access
* Provide campaign assistance:
-"Package up" communications for campaigns and programs to create a compelling partner experience
-Assist in the development of channel collateral by writing content, leveraging verbiage across current pieces to deliver robust channel tools
-Write call-out scripts for channel Inside sales team appropriate to support marketing campaigns
-Develop and deliver (including writing) monthly Website Security Partner news and Partner Alerts
-Develop and deliver reports on communications metrics and ROI, including making recommendations for improvements
-Collaborate cross-functionally the gather content for partner communications; find new areas where content is already being generated that could be leveraged
-Leverage programs, campaigns and product launches for material appropriate to social media, blogs and internal chatter
Skills:
* Required: 7 – 10 years channel experience
* Required: 5+ years experience developing marketing communications, preferably including channel communications
* Required: 3 – 5 years security (IT) experience
* Must have strong demand generation experience, including the ability to improve open rates and click through rates
* Strong preference for candidates with product marketing experience
* Prefer candidates with HTML and social media experience
* Team player with a strong work ethic
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred
Rate: D.O.E, as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location: On site 75% at our client�s office in Mt. View; 25% offsite. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration: Full-time 08/26/2013 – 12/31/2013
