Finish Products Maintenance Manager position for International Paper #40410639 Valliant, Oklahoma (near Texas)
This position reports to the Maintenance and Engineering Business Unit
Manager in Valliant, Oklahoma. Valliant is a 4,000+ ton per day
containerboard mill with 2 paper machines, 3 continuous digesters, 3
secondary fiber plants and a utilities/chemical recovery complex. It
currently operates with 300 mill employees and 150 contract maintenance
employees in a results oriented environment.
Key Functions: Directs activities associated with the planning and
execution of all maintenance required for 2 large paper machines to
ensure continuous improvement in safety, cost and reliability results.
Requirements: Demonstrated leadership skills combined with strong
technical knowledge and operations experience. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills with proven ability to coach, educate, motivate,
and influence. Must be able to organize and prioritize work. Must have
mental agility and be able to make quality decisions in a demanding
manufacturing environment. Prefer at least seven (7) years of
experience in maintenance or production at a manager level. PL will be
determined based on qualifications and experience of selected candidate.
Desire: Technical education consisting of BS or higher in engineering,
pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience. Active
participation in safety, labor relations, problem solving and other
committee/team activities. Hands-on experience in education/training,
maintenance planning, scheduling and execution. Proficient computer
skills in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project Schedule, Auto
Cad and SAP. Well versed in the use of and Manufacturing Work System
and Manufacturing Excellence tools processes.
