Responsibilities for this role would include:
The Natural/Adabas Developer will be an integral member of the development staff. Responsibilities include assisting the development team to extract existing Natural/Adabase business rules and logic and help the reengineer team to develop them in the new platform.
Skills Required:
Ø Minimum 5+ years of hands on recent experience developing in the SAG Natural programming language as well as the Adabas database management system.
Ø Experience with online and batch debugging tools and methodologies.
Ø Experience with batch job scripting.
Ø Hands on development knowledge in Cobol
Ø Deep knowledge in utilizing JCL, TSO, SPUFI, ISPF,VSAM
Ø Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
Nice to have:
Ø Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Ø Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
Ø Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ø Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables
Ø Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
