Human Resources Manager position- up to 70% travel - Alpharetta/North Atlanta
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing human resources support in a multi-state environment. The position provides guidance to managers and associates related to associate relations, benefits, compensation, and payroll. The position also provides recruiting assistance as needed.
This position will support regional offices in multiple states and, as such, will be a “road warrior” role, requiring travel up to 70% of the time.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist in the resolution of human resources issues related to all disciplines including benefits, employee relations, compensation, and payroll.
•Provide performance management guidance to line management including, coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions and development.
•Provide support with new hires, terminations, layoffs, transfers, promotions and other personnel actions.
•Interpret and communicate company policies and procedures and federal and state employment laws. Ensure all employment actions are in legal compliance.
•Conduct effective, objective, and thorough investigations to resolve associate relations issues and grievances.
•Provide recruiting assistance for regional positions.
•Assist in the resolution of wage claims by gathering documentation and participating in hearings.
•Participate in unemployment claim responses and hearings.
•Assist with the deployment of and training for new or revised human resources processes and procedures that impact associates and managers.
•Participate in special projects as requested.
•Participate in the development and deployment of human resources programs.
•Comply with all company polices and standards including associate handbook, company national standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Education and/or Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field is preferred.
•5+ years of HR Generalist/Manager experience is required. PHR or SPHR is preferred.
•Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.

•Ability to manage key internal and external relationships.
•Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
•Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Highly self-motivated and directed.
•Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
