We are looking for an experienced CMO for an Interim CMO opportunity at a late stage start up, who is a leader in mobile apps and entertainment content in Africa, Latin America and India. The Interim CMO would be responsible for leading the overall marketing efforts for the mobile app and celebrity information service in these emerging markets. The Interim CMO will also be responsible for launches of this service in new countries in Africa and Latin America.
This is a full time contract opportunity for approximately 6 month period (contract to perm possible). The role would be onsite at the client�s offices in north New Jersey. Local candidates ONLY. The engagement would be as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Develop the marketing strategy for the mobile app and celebrity content service. The marketing plan would include consumer marketing plans as well as celebrity acquisition plans. Marketing plans would be developed for each country in which the client operates in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
•Assess resource needs to execute the marketing strategy; hire the right resources and execute the strategy.
•Measure effectiveness of marketing efforts and refine tactics and programs as necessary.
Requirements:
•3 - 4 years experience in mobile apps marketing
•10 + years experience in consumer marketing
•Experience leading consumer marketing in Africa, Latin America or India
•Ability to think and plan strategically and execute flawlessly
•Experience working in dynamic start up environments
•Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
