We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager for a contract opportunity at a late stage start up, who is a leader in mobile apps and entertainment content in Africa, Latin America and India. The marketing manager would be responsible for consumer marketing of the mobile app and celebrity information service in these emerging markets. The marketing manager will also be responsible for launches of this service in new countries in Africa and Latin America.
This is a 40 hour/week for a 6 month period (extensions possible). The client is located in New Jersey but is open to remote contractors with the right expertise. The engagement would be as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Understand current mobile/consumer offerings
•Understand and assess needs of target consumers, competitors and routes to market
•Develop a marketing plan for the mobile app and celebrity content service. The marketing plan would include consumer marketing plans as well as celebrity acquisition plans. Marketing plans would be developed for each country in which the client operates in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
•Gain buy in for each go to market plan and then execute the strategy in each market.
•Measure effectiveness of marketing efforts and refine tactics and programs as necessary.
Requirements:
•8+ years minimum experience in mobile apps and consumer marketing
•Experience working on consumer marketing in Africa, Latin America or India
•Ability to think and plan strategically and execute flawlessly
•Experience working in dynamic start up environments
•Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
