Description:
• Develops and implements financial account management strategies to
meet business, customer satisfaction and financial objectives and
communicates in person and via other approaches with customers and other
stakeholders.
• Conducts research and prepares reports and plans designed to aid in
the development of profit plans, financial solutions, and improvement
opportunities such as customer payment trends (including open credits,
under tolerance write-offs, unearned discounts, held & late payments),
quality, transit damage, sales policy claims, and deduction and dispute
frequency and type.
• Researches and resolves short payments or deductions, disputes, and
overpayments.
• Facilitates and coordinates the timely resolution of deductions and
disputes related to customer claims due to plant and/or carrier errors,
sometimes requiring initiation of the complaint process.
• Initiates rebill requests to generate corrective actions.
• Ensures all steps of the process for resolution of refused shipments
and requests to return product are completed according to established
policies and guidelines.
• Process all POD rebate credits, volume rebate payments and commission
payments according to established policies and guidelines.
