Database Analyst position for Electronics Manufacturer – South of Chicago in East Central Illinois

Salary based on experience ($60k-$90k), +Relocation & Strong Benefits

East Central Illinois - 90 minutes from central Indianapolis, Indiana and 30 minutes from Champaign, Illinois

70+ year old privately held, rapidly growing electronics manufacturer, area employer of choice for 10+ years.

Recently expanded facility and increase in product sales is driving the need to add to the Engineering and IT Department multiple Software Engineers and IT professionals with drive and ambition.

High growth electronic manufacturing company 300+ employees. Looking for candidates with similar size company backgrounds

MUST HAVE

BS in Computer or Electronic Engineering - ECE, EE, CE, CS - (although lower degrees may be considered in conjunction with more extensive experience comparable to the education level.)
5+ years of relevant, professional level experience in a software development or testing environment.

Required Skills/Experience:

Software and firmware test case and test experience utilizing various operating systems.
Clear, precise, and detailed bug report generation to ensure bug reproducibility.
Operational knowledge testing of one or more of the following:

Various operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, 7, etc);
Communication systems and protocols (router/modems, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc);
Video signal process handling (DVI, HDMI, etc).

Excellent knowledge of the complete SDLC, and Scrum and Sprint implementation.
