Sr Interactive Web Designer Position with HTML/CSS at Tillster - north Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA
Tillster is looking for a modern-thinking web designer with solid CSS design skills to work on our new web platform, designing cutting-edge consumer experiences. In this role, you will be an important part of the design effort for the future of online ordering for some of the biggest restaurant brands in the world, as well as many up-and-coming restaurant brands.
You will be designing cross-platform web presences in a mobile-first, responsive framework. For that reason, the ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of using Responsive Web Design practices, and how to leverage them in order to achieve a great User Experience on mobile, tablet and desktop browsers from one set of CSS.
The ideal candidate is able to work on a design project start-to-finish, as well as to collaborate with Marketing, on larger and more demanding projects. On some projects you would be working remotely with our UX/UI/Marketing team in Los Angeles to translate mockups to HTML 5/CSS3 solutions. The position is primarily based in our Alpharetta office.
Required
Solid understanding and experience with User Interface and User Experience design principles
A keen eye for design is critical and mandatory
5-10 years designing consumer-facing user interfaces that are marketing driven
5+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
A basic understanding of Responsive Web Design
A willingness to learn and apply new thinking in technology, interaction design and e-commerce
Ability to effectively work in a fast paced, changing environment that requires significant attention to detail throughout the duration of all projects and assignments
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite and wireframing software such as Axure
Preferred
Mobile-first experience with CSS3
Solid understanding of HTML 5
Ability to wireframe UI’s in order to quickly move projects from conversations to actions
Interactive Agency is a plus – experience working as front end with a team of UX/UI designers
eCommerce experience strongly desired
Experience with wireframing software like Axure
Experience with JavaScript and/or jQuery
A good frontend development ethic, including source control and preprocessing
