Job Description:
8+ years experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications, converting specifications into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages. 8+ years experience developing technical designs in consultation with other technical experts.
Experience in the following development and design tools or equivalent Rational Software Architect RSA or other Eclipse based ? UML Modeling Tools ? Hyperion or Crystal Reports (or SQL Reporting Tool) ? Perforce, CVS or SVN
Experience in the following languages: J2EE, Java 5, EJB, JSP and Servlets, SQL, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services, JavaScript, XML, LDAP using Active Directory or Tivoli
Experience with IBM WebSphere and/or BEA Weblogic web application servers
Experience in RDBMS developing data model database triggers, procedures, packages and functions in the following: ? Microsoft SQL Server
Experience developing unit and system test plans, test data and scripts for application validation and verification.
Experience performing extensive analysis and design working on projects of all sizes that require exposure to all aspects of the project life cycle and creating and maintaining documentation in conformance with established standards.
Experience working with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for application development projects.
Experience evaluating user requests for new programs or modified program components to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities.
Experience performing peer reviews of developed code to insure conformity to standards and design best practices.
Experience reviewing technical designs and specifications for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced developers.
Experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications and converting them into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.
Experience working with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts
Experience conducting system test
Experience in verbal and written communication with clients in English
Experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and debugging.
Ability to work under pressure and in tight deadlines.
