Architect Position - Senior Level Database Architecture and .NET Developer
The candidate creates, devises, and modifies procedures to design and develop complex database architectures. They also possess supplemental skills to design, code, test, debug, and document associated applications. They are competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of database and applications programming activities. Analyzes existing structures or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs applications. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Possesses knowledge of common patterns/designs and best practices for data modeling.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5+ SQL Server Database Architecture and Design experience
· Minimum 3+ years object-oriented analysis, design and development experience
· Minimum 3+ years C# coding experience
· Minimum 3+ years' experience with SQL Server 2008 or later
· Minimum 2+ MVC4 and WebAPI
· Advanced data modeling skills
· Fundamental object-oriented design skills
· Database Schema Development and Documentation experience
· Experience working with multi-site environment and developing and designing components to be shared and used cross-functionally
· Knowledge of XML and JSON serialization concepts
· Understanding of the technical foundations of a web-based solution
· Working knowledge of web service standards
· Experience leading and directing a team
· Demonstrated strong written & verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Desired Skills:
· Transparent Data Encryption experience
· SQL Database Partitioning
· SQL Replication Strategy experience
· Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008 or later
· Experience with html, html5, css, javascript and graphic optimization for interface development
· Working knowledge of UML, and experience with modeling tools (Visio, Enterprise Architect)
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Library 5 or later
· Strong understanding and hands-on experience with industry-standard design (OOD) patterns
· Experience with data conversion and migration
· Experience developing in an Agile environment
· Experience (or Certification) working with SiteCore 6.5/7.0 CMS applications
· Certifications in Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) a plus
