Our products are based on exceptional development expertise.<br /><br /> At this time, we have a need for a Senior Recruiter who will provide assistance to managers by analyzing and developing diverse or innovative strategies to solve complex staffing needs related to organizational growth and expansion. The Senior Recruiter will proactively work with business leaders to plan for future business needs.<br /><br /> This person will manage all aspects of the recruiting process including working with agencies, screening and interviewing candidates, facilitating salary negotiations, and processing necessary documentation to ensure smooth on-boarding. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for R&D, administrative and management level positions from entry to director level. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a strong working knowledge of scientific functions and the biotechnology industry. Extensive knowledge of hiring policy and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.<br /><br /> Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:<br /><br /> • Provide weekly reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition on the status of all open requisitions and the hiring activity to be reported to the Executive Committee<br /><br /> • Source candidates for open requisitions across multiple departments <br /><br /> • Leverage multiple sourcing channels and strategies to provide high quality candidates for open positions<br /><br /> • Maintain candidate pipelines for all positions; anticipating future hiring demands and updating accordingly<br /><br /> • Partner with the hiring managers to implement and execute effective sourcing strategies to recruit top industry talent<br /><br /> • Full life cycle recruitment<br /><br /> • Thoroughly evaluate candidates to check personal qualifications again job specifications and cultural fit<br /><br /> • Build captivating job descriptions and compelling communications for passive candidates<br /><br /> • Provide aggressive hiring plans and build confidence and credibility with clients, candidates and HR team<br /><br /> • Proactive high touch customer service model; regularly meeting face to face with hiring managers<br /><br /> • Consultative approach to recruiting<br /><br /> • Provide consistent results in a metrics driven high performance culture<br /><br /> • Experience partnering with Internal Sourcing Partners to provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach<br /><br /> Experience and Qualifications:<br /><br /> • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry; highly preferred to have experience recruiting for R&D <br /><br /> • 5+ years of experience recruiting professional level candidates; preferable in both an agency and corporate environment<br /><br /> • Demonstrated track record of success sourcing passive candidates<br /><br /> • Strong communication and negotiation skills to articulate the employment value proposition<br /><br /> • Experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers<br /><br /> • Proficient knowledge and demonstrated results using recruitment technology (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Database mining, ATS and MS Office Suite)<br /><br /> • Flexible and adaptable with focused time management skills<br /><br /> • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision<br /><br /> • Strongly preferred is experience at a start up and/or small biotech company<br /><br /> • Attention to detail<br /><br /> Education Requirements (degree, certifications, etc.): Include must have and preferred<br /><br /> • Bachelors Degree<br /><br /> • PHR or SPHR<br /><br /> Pharmacyclics is an Equal Opportunity Employer<br /><br />
