US Citizen or EAD, Green Card only. . The key here is going to be to find someone who is strong in the technology and has great communication skills since they will be working over the phone or via email 100% of the time.
Below is a description of the duties and qualifications for this position:
· Perform backup and upgrades and troubleshooting by understanding the various log messages
· Create and maintain installation documentation and architectural diagrams
· Report package deployments
· Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
· Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments
· Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures
· Monitor program execution for expected performance
· Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system software applications
· Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures
· Provide L2/L3 support for SiteMinder
· Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification
Education and Experience Required: College Degree required or equivalent work experience
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Demonstrated consulting and services experience
· Preferred Washington DC Metro area
· 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing
and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology
· 5+ years of experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions
· SiteMinder Professional certification preferred
· Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
· Proven ability at looking at solutions in unconventional ways. Sees opportunities to innovate and can lead the way
· Data modeling experience is preferred
· Advanced Knowledge in Administration of SiteMinder
· Maintain upgrades, patches for SiteMinder
· Knowledge in Upgrading SiteMinder to newer versions
· Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
