POSITION – BUSINESS ANALYST
LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
TYPE - CONTRACT
Job Description
• Maintaining weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics
• Managing royalty program for various service vendors
• Identifying data for any new projects/analysis
• Responsible for data quality, accuracy and timeliness
• Testing and verification of data
• Ability to summarize millions of transactions within limited time
• Provides meaningful analysis based on available data
• Deep dive into data to perform multilevel analysis
• Foresee further analysis and be ready
• Communicate any delay or challenges
• Manage relationship with vendors (Answering questions, File Recon, Data Validation, etc.)
• Explain data from a business perspective and relevance to Key Performance Indicators
Required skills/qualifications:
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum 5 years business analysts experience (prefer 8+ years)
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills to audiences of all levels
• Ability to formulate implementation options and help achieve win-win solutions for internal stakeholders, Customers and Partners
• Ability to identify and analyze complex programs, processes and tools
• Works independently with minimal supervision required
• Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively
• Proactive and plans for future steps
• Effective in planning and commitment to deadlines
• Ready to try out-of-box ideas for data analysis
• Adapts to new tools
• Cross-Collaboration
• Effectively capture the thought process of PM and be ready with data or provide directions/ideas
• Quick and adaptable to changing requirements
• Passionate about data and excited about data analysis
• Willing to take challenges and "do the right thing" attitude
• Willing to follow semi-automatic/manual process for few data analysis requirements
