Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time talented and energetic Sr. Copywriter/Content Strategist Consultant to create, maintain and execute a comprehensive content strategy under the direction of the Communications Director for our high-tech client in Palo Alto, CA. This opportunity offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology that transforms the way organizations apply data to solve issues on a global scale. Collaborating and creatively brainstorming closely with highly-effective teams from across the company, the Sr. Copywriter/Content Strategist will play a key role in defining strategy and messaging and champion the corporate brand and voice and style of the business.
The ideal consultant excels at crafting all manner of internal and external communications across a variety of mediums with a fresh, innovative voice. Must have a high E.Q. (emotional intelligence quotient), be intuitive, empathetic, and supportive, with the ability to collaborate, move fast, listen, adapt and rapidly incorporate feedback. Writing samples required; show us your most innovative, fresh work.
Specific Responsibilities:
Drive messaging across all company channels. Write headlines for high-traffic websites, structure presentations to Clients, internal stakeholders and develop campaigns with global reach and visibility
Analyze content opportunities and recommend strategies, interactions, or approaches
Create, edit, format and rewrite content from internal and external stakeholders into engaging concepts and copy, ensuring all content is compelling, cohesive and on-message
Deliver on-point copy deliverables across multiple platforms
Ensure all content is readable, findable, is effective and has maximum reach
Be accountable for meeting multiple tight deadlines, with ability to react to immediate company or project needs
Apply attention to detail and top-notch grammar skills
Skills:
3-7 years' experience in creating/writing/developing compelling content; with the ability to tell a story and command an audience, regardless of the audience or the brand
Experience working in an agency or similar client services environment is preferred
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand complex, abstract technical subjects and express them in a straightforward, accessible way
Ability to access the engineering mindset and to accurately reflect their visions in content creation with grace and conviction
Intuitive, empathetic, supportive, responsive, ability to collaborate, move fast, listen, adapt and rapidly incorporate feedback
Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, English, Advertising, Communications or similar required. MBA preferred.
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 100% onsite at client's office in Palo Alto, CA. No phone calls please. Local Bay Area candidates only.
HOURS/DURATION: FT, ASAP – ongoing, flexible workweek hours.
