Director of Human Resources position with Paymetric - Roswell/north Atlanta, GA

The Director of Human Resources will have significant responsibility for developing and enhancing the recruiting, talent management and staff development function at Paymetric.

 The Director of Human Resources is a new position, charged with moving Paymetric from an organization that effectively manages HR processes, to an organization with sophisticated talent management and development capacity. This includes developing strategies, systems, tools, and processes to support overall talent management, inclusive of robust onboarding, staff training and professional development, as well as career and succession planning.

 

The position interacts with multiple levels of management and has a strong understanding of the staff across the entire organization. The role provides visible day-to-day leadership, direction, and motivation in order to foster a culture of teamwork, mutual support, and exceptional results, while also ensuring overall compliance with all applicable laws and organization's compliance with state and federal employment laws and labor regulations.

 

Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including recruitment, hiring, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.

 

Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling, staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; and maintaining compensation.

 

Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.

 

Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

 

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

 

Creates and maintains reporting mechanisms and staffing metrics for executive management.

 

Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in succession planning, talent management, organization effectiveness and management development. Graduate degree preferred but not required;

 

Demonstrated track record of success in developing, implementing, and managing successful and creative talent, and succession management processes and programs;

 

Superior interpersonal skills to work with employees and managers at all levels, including proven ability to influence senior leaders;

 

Strong business partnership/business consulting skills;

 

A strong achiever with a leadership track record;

 

Decisive and focused, understands what needs to be done and moves quickly to that end;

 

Strong business and financial acumen;

 

Initiative to investigate and proceed with new ideas, projects, or process improvements;

 

Comfortable working through ambiguous situations and advising senior management on appropriate course of action;

 

Experience with HRIS systems, knowledge of ADP's Workforce Now preferred.
