Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Manager, Marketing Operations (MMO) who is responsible for end to end marketing operations across all NA Robert Half divisions including: the technical infrastructure that support demand generation campaigns, measurement and optimization of campaigns, lead generation and sales conversions, as well as process improvement and automation. The MMO owns the day to day operations of the marketing contact database to ensure all demand generation campaigns and lead generation data is correct. This role will also support in the development and design of a global marketing automation system. The MMO actively monitors the marketing contact database and provides management with analysis and recommendations that impact program goal setting and lead funnel strategy. In addition this role this role partners with marketing and business technology team leads to optimize the integration of marketing and sales. Strategically, the MMO is a thought leader in marketing automation technology and lead generation and makes recommendations to leadership on program direction and technology strategy.

Specific responsibilities include:



Lead Generation and Sales Conversion:

• Manage lead management processes from creation of marketing lead to sales accepted lead.

• Develop best practices and strategy for all lead generation campaigns and monitors programs to ensure adherence.

• Partner with business technology in development, monitoring and optimization of lead scoring models for all LOBs.

• Partner with business technology to ensure optimal Salesforce lead integration, lead management, and lead routing.

• Recommend, implement, and manage all lead gen web form/landing page A/B testing.

• Recommend, implement, and manage all lead gen web form/landing page standards.

Marketing Tools and Technology:

• Manage the contact database, ensure data accuracy and integrity for demand gen campaigns.

• Develop process and procedures to improve data hygiene, data quality and effectiveness of contact database.

• Act as marketing data steward and oversee optimal data flow from CRM to marketing contact database.

• Identify data gaps in marketing contact database and implement solutions to resolve gaps.

• Project manage department-wide and cross-functional marketing technology initiatives, and ensure they are executed as designed, on time and within budget.

• Work across the company, including IT, Business Technology and Marketing, to collaborate on data access, synchronization and security.

Automation and Process improvement:

• Identify and update campaigns or programs that could be improved through automation.

• Lead implementation of automated campaigns and drip/nurture programs.

• Recommend, implement, and manage updates to business processes and systems to improve efficiency across marketing.

• Develop requirements for improvements and enhancements in marketing operations and infrastructure.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Generate regular reports and analysis on the overall number of contacts in the marketing contact database.

• Generate reports, analyze, and make strategic recommendations on the marketing lead funnel.

• Build closed loop and ROI reports based on campaign results and sales activity.

• Build and update multi-touch attribution reporting models.

• Develop and recommend demand generation campaign strategies based on previous campaigns.



• Seek out industry best practices and incorporates relevant ideas.

• Develop overall program and technical strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree. Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or Economics majors desired.

• 6+ years' of Marketing experience, specifically at least 4+ years' experience in marketing operations or demand generation.

• 3+ years' experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

• Previous experience as Marketing Automation Administrator (Eloqua or Marketo preferred).

• Previous experience in multi-variant testing, data analytics, lead nurture/drip communications, multi-touch attribution reporting and close loop reporting.

• Demonstrated ability in marketing automation system.

• Strong Excel/analytical skills required.

• Basic SQL and HTML.

• Superior interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

• Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across organization.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership.

• Demonstrated leadership ability.

• Demonstrated ability managing marketing and sales alignment processes.
