Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Employee Recognition Program Manager who will manage the field recognition programs and projects including but not limited to Reach for the Stars, Million Dollar Milestone and Administrative recognition. Partners with the field stakeholders and leadership, Staffing Reporting and other corporate service departments to achieve specific, defined business objectives. Involves planning, directing and monitoring all aspects of program delivery from reporting to awards. Identifies internal processes for improvement or opportunities for efficiency and presents business case for undergoing proposed changes.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Strategize, design, and plan all aspects of assigned programs/projects related Field recognition programs including but not limited to Reach for the Stars, Million Dollar Milestone and Administrative Recognition.

• Ensure proper level of communications (inter-team, intra-team) established and utilized throughout planning process.

• Coordinate program communications strategy and plan, and optimize results through highly effective communications by partnering with Staff Development, Corp Comm and Marketing as needed.

• In partnership with department leaders, develop the program strategy, supporting business case and various high-level project plans.

• Adapt to changing project, programs or technology requirements.

• Proactively define approaches, strategies, and plans to optimize execution of assigned program.

• Perform annual review of all programs to provide recommendations for adjustments to program criteria.

• Develop and implement best practices for effective communication for all programs.

• Partner with Marketing, Media Services and Corp Comm to build, implement and maintain internal campaigns for all programs including videos, emails, intranet sites, in office promotional items and all other communications to field leadership.

• Responsible for validating and delivering monthly reporting/rankings for all programs.

• Review, evaluate and make recommendations to questions/suggestions submitted from field management.

• Work collaboratively with team members, department management, Staff Development, Staffing Reporting and business owners/sponsors to deliver programs reporting.

• Manage issues and risks proactively, prevent escalated situations in the project. Exclusively use a proactive approach as a means to avoid problems, issues and risks on the project.

• Partner with Travel and Meeting in the administration of the budgets for the programs and provide reporting and communication in planning and executing award events.

• Partner with the Purchasing to effectively manage vendors associated with delivering awards for all programs.

• Manage and coordinate projects related to recognition programs including new programs, updates to current programs.

• Monitor, track and manage team tasks/execution against established deliverables, plans, and objectives.

• Coordinate, report status, and ensure stability of projects related to program adjustments.

• Write project communication messages to appropriate audiences.

• Effective organization of meetings to ensure flow, participation, and progress.

• Plan and direct schedules to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

• Track key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor���s degree or equivalent work experience required.

• 3+ years��� project management experience preferred.

• 3+ years��� recognition program management experience preferred.

• Experience managing recognition programs.

• Experience in recognition program modeling.

• Knowledge of schedule, budget, risk management, issues management, leadership.

• Consistently demonstrates above average clear, articulate, concise communication; verbal and written, with all levels/audiences within an organization, in addition to negotiation/conflict resolution.

• Consistently utilized and effective over own work.

• Demonstrated effective use and intermediate experience with Word, Excel, and SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat.

• Demonstrated experience in overall senior role.

• Demonstrated experience in using these skills in a project management role.

• Able to speak well in front of an audience.

• Detail-oriented and timeline focused.

• High level of confidentiality.
