Job Description:

The Security Analyst Specialty Senior performs tasks related to provisioning user access to systems and applications for Client's Consumer in alignment with the information security policies and procedures of Client and to ensure the integrity and security of the organizations information contained on and transferred within all computing operating systems and applications.

Day to Day duties:
1. Assists in the administration of user access and privileges to applications and systems, ensuring that access requests are properly authorized, appropriately documented, and accurately fulfilled.
2. Troubleshoots user access issues, including determining cause and implementing resolution.
3. Assists in the implementation of logical user access policies, standards, and guidelines that balance business requirements, risk tolerance, and AIG policies.
4. Assists users and managers in their efforts to establish and maintain adequate audit trails so that sufficient evidence of computerized business activities exists to reconcile accounts, to detect frauds, to quickly resolve       problems, and to otherwise maintain secure and reliable information systems.
5. Performs special projects and participates as a technical advisor for a variety of ad-hoc information security and logical user access projects that will be dictated by current business and technological developments.
6. Provides reports and evidence for audits of systems and processes based on Client and industry standards, and facilitates remediation of audit findings.
7. Executes regulatory and operational control activities related to user provisioning, deprovisioning and access recertification.
8. Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes.
9. Develops, maintains and reviews technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Communicates to and conducts training with cross-organizational teams.
10. Maintains a high awareness of both internal and external legislation and regulations regarding information security protection, and coordinates as necessary with Risk & Compliance, Legal, and HR staff.

Required Skills:

6+ years experience in information technology supporting a large size company.
Possess exposure to Windows, Open Systems and Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) Mainframe computing environments with a strong emphasis on Active Directory (AD) and Resource Access Control Facility (RACF).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, proactive, and accountable with the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a steady work pace with a high level of accuracy.
Possess critical thinking skills to evaluate and rationalize requests for appropriateness.
Works well with peers, clients, and third party vendors in a team environment.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Must possess a strong sense of ethics and integrity in support of security compliance and related interaction with all constituents.
Information technology audit experience preferred.
Experience with ticket management applications preferred.
Experience with queue management preferred.
Proficient in Windows and Active Directory security design and application, including knowledge of file shares and group membership.
Proficient in Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) mainframes and Resource Access Control Facility (RACF), including the Vanguard suite of products for RACF.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio) to provide data in various forms (reports, charts, statistics) and SharePoint.
Understands concepts of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), with experience in RBAC-related implementations.
Understands Identity and Access Management best practices
