Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Real Estate Operations Manager who will provide on-going program development, analysis and reporting in support of business goals and objectives. Provides program budgeting and assessment, implements work scope and related operational policies and procedures for the Corporate Real Estate organization.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the development and reporting of the Real Estate Workplace Services Portal related to the Worldwide Lease Portfolio and Project Management.

• Conduct research, analysis, and design of the multi-year plan, budgets and forecast for the RE&F organization.

• Leverage Lease Administration system to develop grids, dashboards, and reports related to critical dates, lease terms, and other lease related information.

• Develop, revise and recommend standards, policies, and procedures for the RE&F organization.

• Develop success indicators and monitor program performance. Make adjustments to program based on industry standards and best practices.

• Generate interim progress reports, final reports, and presentations for high-level officers, committees, professionals and clients.

• Manage internal and external relationships in support of program.

• Directly supervise a staff and provide informal leadership to department work groups or cross-functional teams.

• Provide technical/professional leadership in areas of expertise.

• Develop database content objectives and maintain and monitor data integrity.

• Administration of responsibilities of CRE (e.g., AR, AP, GL, etc.) leased premises property inventories.

• Ensure the orderly, accurate, integrated and timely maintenance of and accessibility to historical, current and forecast information of CRE management, including KPI's, respective P&L, financial statements, etc.

• Maintain policies, standards and procedures for budgeting, accounting, reporting, forecasting and financial analysis, and support internal and external audits as required.

Desired Skills Experience:

Financial Knowledge

• Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.

• Able to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts complex financial/business analysis including the preparation of complex reports.

• Prepare and manage departmental budget.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.

• Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles.

• Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.

• Ability to make effective presentations on general topics to an internal department, large group of employees, clients, and/or management.

• Ability to motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Business, Science, and/or Finance required.

• 10+ years' in corporate finance, corporate real estate, commercial real estate, and/or program development and management required. Business system and reporting infrastructure development preferred.

• Experience as team leader displaying advanced communication, influencing, and collaboration skills required. Experience in managing real estate planning, delivery, and /or lease administration teams preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Comprehensive professional/technical knowledge of Virtual Premise or other Lease/Project Management system, as well as negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary.

• Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques Financial acumen, strategic orientation and time management skills required.

• In-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting department deadlines.

• Practical knowledge of Corporate Real Estate functions; facility management, sourcing, design, construction, contracts and project management and understanding of their impact on financials is preferred.

• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in varying situations.

• Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

• Ability to analyze complex problems and generate multi-dimensional data-driven solutions.
