HDS ISV Integration Engineer
Overview:
This position is a hands-on, mid to senior level technical position. The ideal candidate is a customer oriented, technology savvy, self-starter.
ISV Integration Engineers are critical members of a small team working closely with HDS' product support teams, ISV Marketing and ISV partners and candidates to ensure the successful integration of ISV products with HDS products.
Responsibilities:
1. Advise the HDS ISV partners and candidates regarding the best practices for implementation and use of specific HDS products.
2. Design and implement solutions for HDS ISV partners and candidates. This includes both converged and prescriptive solutions.
3. Consult with HDS Solutions Product Managers, ISV partners and candidates regarding solution design and needed improvements.
4. Design, implement, execute, review ISV certification/qualification and conformance tests.
5. Troubleshooting functional and solution deployment issues on HDS or ISV partner products.
6. Define issues and drive resolution with engineering and ISVs.
7. Replicating ISV test environments in Waltham or Santa Clara labs and running/reporting test suite results.
8. Write Reference Architecture documents, Best Practices documents, Implementation Guides for developed/tested solution.
9. Lab infrastructure design, implementation, and continued support/tracking.
Primary qualifications:
1. BSCS or equivalent degree or experience
2. Working knowledge of configuring and building test suites and data center test bench environment, as well we experience in executing tests.
3. 3-5 years experience with storage.
4. 3-5 years experience with NAS
5. Ability to script in Java and/or C/C++ (not required).
6. 6-10 years of relevant technical experience in hardware or software engineering, test, integration, or similar.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. Strong relationship skills dealing with outside entities.
