REQUIRED:
***** 5+ years of experience in QA Testing
***** Knowledge of FIX (message types, tags, etc.)
***** Strong knowledge of Market Data and testing methodologies for same.
***** Experience with several global market data vendor interfaces.
***** Understanding of algorithmic trading.
***** Comfort with at least one RDBMS: Oracle, Sybase, MS/SQL
***** Knowledge of Shell, Perl and/or Python scripting.
***** Exposure to low-latency messaging products (Tibco, LBM, Solace, etc.)
***** Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
***** Do functional, regression and system testing of front and server side applications.
***** Develop understanding of both business drivers and technical implementation of the Trading platform.
***** Provide analysis of business and design requirements; participate in implementation discussion.
***** Adapt testing to any project needs.
***** Develop and write automated testing scripts.
***** Serve as second or third tier support on production issues.
***** Work with System Testing group to help develop testing scenarios.
