Our client is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Manager for a full time position. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing coordination role within a biotech, bio-analytical tools, diagnostics, or medical device company.

The Marketing Communications Manager will:
· Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure effective promotion of the company’s product lines and brand.
· Maintain control over marketing communications schedules, roadmaps, and planning.
· Coordinate (and attend when required) an active schedule of regional, national, and international conferences, including logistics, exhibits, collateral, and symposiums.
· Execute e-marketing campaigns which include frequent email marketing communications, banner ads, pay-per-click campaigns, and web seminars.
· Execute print ad campaigns in leading scientific journals and industry publications.
· Direct public relations efforts including press releases and media placements.
· Manage design, production, and distribution of marketing collateral to field sales team.
· Coordinate and implement web site developments, modifications, and content updates using a content management system and change orders with web design firm.
· Interact with external resources that may include consultants, design agencies, web firms, and the like.
This job will require the following attributes:
· Undergraduate degree in either the life sciences or in marketing/design. If the latter, must also have marketing work experience in the life science industry.
· A MINIMUM of 3 years work experience in a marketing role at a life sciences company (bioanalytical tools, biotech, pharma, medical device, diagnostics),
· Prior experience with the coordination of scientific marketing activities: conferences/trade shows, web seminars, e-marketing, ad placements, and PR.
· Demonstrated competency in basic layout, graphic design, and copy editing. This role will require some basic graphic design skills using HTML, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and web-based content management systems.
· Extremely well organized and ability to adhere to deadlines.
· Excellent written and communication skills.
· Ability to integrate with a multi-disciplinary team that includes marketing, sales, technical, executive, and consultant personnel.
