Lexmark Worldwide Marketing Communications requires a Copywriter with insight and expertise related to Software Applications and Solutions offerings.
This individual will be responsible for creating and/or coordinating development of marketing communications content for various media used to support the defined offering space. Candidacy for this assignment requires a proven track record in copywriting and content development. Ensures that key, strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences. Must have an understanding of the Enterprise B to B technology market space in general and specifically, have an understanding of software offerings. The ideal candidate is a confident, flexible driver with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Create and work to a communications plan for defined offerings.
* Interface regularly with stakeholders from Product Marketing and Sales teams to gather relevant information in order to create benefits-driven and persuasive copy to be leveraged across a wide range of marketing deliverables including: sales brochures, promotional pieces, presentations, email marketing campaigns, microsites, landing pages, and social media platforms.
Skills:
*7-10 years of copywriting experience within the Technology industry, B to B.
*Must understand Enterprise and direct selling.
*Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills. Writing samples/portfolio examples required.
*Confident, diplomatic and credible presence for partnering with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
*Program management experience to drive cross functional team projects.
*Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
*BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations or related experience.
Rate: D.O.E as full time employee of client.
