We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Process Creation consultant for a client opportunity at a mid-sized, growing, high technology company. The Marketing Process Creation consultant will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to create effective processes to drive the software product lifecycle with emphasis in Product Management, Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing. The consultant will work closely with an inter-disciplinary team to drive process innovation and improvements to scale the organization.
This is a 40 hour per week, 3 to 6 month role at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
•Design, develop and institutionalize effective processes from product planning through product launch; support, and end of life
•Work with cross-functional management to ascertain feedback and then, buy in to the new recommended processes
•Create process documents; templates and other tools required to education team on the processes and ensure adherence
•Evaluate and recommend necessary systems to institutionalize the agreed upon processes between the 3 function areas
•Create and manage an Organizational Alignment and Efficiency Plan across the Product Management, Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing functions
Requirements:
•8+ years experience in marketing process creation and improvement
•Demonstrated software lifecycle process knowledge from product conception to launch, deployment and support; understanding of Agile development processes
•Advanced PowerPoint skills
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent , MBA preferred
•Strong organizational skills; strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•Team player, self-motivator and independent worker; ability to create buy in from a diverse management team
