Online Marketing Analyst - Americas

Candidate will have a deep knowledge in the areas of mobile communication, specifically mobile messaging, and mobile application ecosystems. The candidate will have a good understanding and personal interest in social media, social marketing and social commerce and is willing to bring new and innovative marketing concepts into Clickatell. In addition the Marketing Analyst will remain current and maintain a broad knowledge of Clickatell products, services and systems, and project management skills.

The Online Marketing Analyst will report to the Director of Product Marketing- Americas and will be responsible for Clickatell´s diverse marketing activities in the Americas region. The person will also interface with the Management Team, Product Management, Marketing and other leadership in both Redwood City and Cape Town South Africa, and externally withgroups including customers and Public Relations agencies. This candidate is expected to perform as an individual contributor.


Responsibilities:
Manage online and email marketing on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that traffic and efficiency goals are met or exceeded

Own all aspects of Website development, channel lead gen, and SEM, including hands-on implementation and campaign management for the Americas region. Lead all aspects of SEO product search marketing Select, manage and apply SEM, website and email marketing tools Manage SEO/SEM team and external designers and vendors to develop, test and optimize compelling campaigns that drive user engagement in the Americas region with alignment and approval of the regional product goals and marketing/business objectives. Drive PPC and ad placements campaigns in cooperation with Cape Town based Marketing team and any outside vendors that are required.

Maximize quality traffic and conversion of new materials and products on the website

Build Clickatell´s social media presence in Americas region. Manage social media engagements on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and Blogs

Maintain and extend functionality and promotion of Clickatell Americas region across a variety of marketing channels, including events, paid placements, lead generation and more.

Manage regional marketing and help forecast goals based on new campaign types and promotions

Provide reporting & data analysis to problem solve, identify opportunities and communicate key performance trends to the organization

Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance

Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Sales teams on go-to-market initiatives ranging from corporate and product positioning, PR, Product marketing, lead gen and campaign management

Requirements:

Experience:
5+ years in relevant online marketing positions required.

5+ years online marketing experience required.

Social media and online experience required.

Experience managing projects within cross-functional teams preferred.

Bachelor´s degree, ideally in Marketing, Business or Economics or a related field.
