Unless he can prove legally that he has these numbers confidentially held, stored, and managed (a red flag should be that sending across email alone is NOT secure) then do NOT give this person your social security number. I work in securities fraud and I can tell you that I can do a lot of damage if you were to provide the information he requires for a simple job opp, and since there is no screening on this list, anyone could be posing as a recruiter and scamming. NO job opportunity requires you to provide a social security number unless you specifically sign (ie in person, on paper, hand written signature) rights for something like a background check.
