Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time Channel Marketing Manager consultant for their client Cisco Systems, located in San Jose. The ideal candidate is a driven marketing professional with corporate and partner marketing experience in the IT and communications realm. This accomplished but growing Marketing Manager will focus on marketing and co-marketing efforts to advance the company's success with key strategic services partners, particularly those with whom the company is driving whole offer solutions in the Data Center/Virtualization market. This role is one that will rapidly build on their previous experience and fully develop their skills as a global services partner marketing professional.
The consultant will have the ability to quickly familiarize themselves with and adapt to varying partner cultures and engagement models and to focus marketing efforts as strategically appropriate for each to accelerate joint success toward established business objectives. They will also be adept at collaborating with company and partner stakeholder groups (across products, services and global geos) to facilitate a standardized approach to internal and external marketing and co-marketing with these partners. In addition, this Marketing Manager will need to understand the company's top priorities and their Services portfolio, partner program and GTM in order to align their marketing efforts for each partnership.
Proactive responsibilities will be focused on Services Strategic Partners driving Data Center whole offers, but may extend to other architectures and possibly one global services partner. This role may also provide reactive support on an as-needed basis for other Services Strategic partners.
Responsibilities:
* Engage with Partner Managers and Partner/Ecosystem marketing counterparts to establish differentiated positioning for relationship and offers
* Establish partner marketing plans in support the company's Services priorities and Partner Marketing Plan
* Clarify and communicate the value proposition for strategic alliances and/or resulting offers to both company and partner sales and field teams to drive sales engagement, bookings and revenue
* Establish SMART goals and report progress as part of quarterly review process
* Collaborate with Services Partner Marcom team, Digital Media Solutions, AR/PR and other COE teams to execute and craft deliverables identified in marketing plans
* Collaborate with Sales Enablement team to provide needed enablement tools to both sales and partners as appropriate
* Collaborate with Architecture Business Development and Marketing leads for relevant offer marketing and co-marketing
* Serve as Services Partner Marketing SME for Data Center/Virtualization architecture
Skills Requirements:
* Prior Cisco experience required
* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area. Minimum of 3 years marketing experience, including corporate environment
* Partner marketing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive successful execution with a range of stakeholders
* Comfortable engaging with executive level leadership in both company and partner organizations
* Ability to strategize above the tactical level and form a vision for the role and what's possible
* Demonstrated ability to craft strategic, integrated marketing plans and to execute with measureable results
RATE: $2200-$2400/week D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group
HOURS/DURATION: 40 hours/week ongoing
