Title: Program Manager
Duration: 6+ months with potential to conversion
Location: San Jose, CA

- The Program Manager will manage multiple projects across different functional areas and theaters expanding our growing relationship with our client. For these projects, the program managers ability to work across geographic and functional boundaries will ultimately measure success.
- Will oversee a virtual project staff including project engineers, vendors, subcontractors, or partners for the duration of the project and receives general project objectives and directions on new assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drives campaign concepts, plans and be an Expert Subject Matters on behalf of our client.
- Interface with Asia and US team and familiar with international environments
- Work virtually with 25+ business units

- Manages integration, interdependencies, and alignment of projects and/or tracks of work within and across functions as required.
- Creates a project delivery schedule that includes financial, resource and marketing requirements.
- Manages project related communications within and outside of the project. Proactively indentifies and communicates impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Freely provides information regarding project progress and scope using a project dashboard and/or internal/external status reports.
- Identifies and socializes project success metrics to the internal team and to external stakeholders. Evaluates project progress and results against success metrics.
- Exudes energy and enthusiasm. Promotes and recognizes the contribution of team members, and creates a positive work environment.
- Effectively identifies and resolves issues. Approves scope/cost/schedule/ quality changes through the project sponsor (board).
- Proactively identifies risks, communicates risks to appropriate stakeholders and develops a risk mitigation strategy and a contingency plan.
- Estimates project investment and requests budget allocation and reallocations. Ensures project is within budget. Tracks, reports, and closes out expenses and contractual obligations.
- Relationships: Identifies and establishes partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes, end-products and/or solutions
- Creates or re-engineers processes, resources, structure to gain productivity and improve project.
- Identifies impacts of the project, builds awareness and support for change within the organization
- Provides leadership to clients Project Management Community; promotes knowledge sharing across the company; strives to build a network of project managers
- Initiate or participate in industry trend analysis and other project benchmarking, contributes to development of training.
- Takes initiative to identify opportunities and improve project management capabilities. Maintains a broad view and strives to improve the company by sharing lessons learned.

REQUIRES:
- 8+ years of Project Management Experience or 3+ years of Intel experience
- Proficient of MS suites.
- Past experience with leading the implementation of small to medium projects with budgets $250K-$3M
- Skilled at planning and prioritization processes to align team and resources towards the most important business objectives.
