The Product Marketing Manager´sprimary responsibility will be delivering end-to-end, enterprise class software solutions that focus on Lexmarkâ™s key technology areas including: Software as a Service, Cloud and Mobile, Dynamic Case Management, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Management, Content Capture, and Output Management.
Candidates must have exceptional software marketing talent. They must demonstrate comprehensive domain knowledge in enterprise software solutions, have direct software engineering experience with software business development experience a plus. Direct involvement in developing successful business models is required.
Candidates must also have a solid grasp of the core Product Marketing Manager skill set: driving the go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, field and channel enablement and product evangelism.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
* Drive the productâ™s strategic direction and near term customer requirements
* Identify, analyze and understand market trends for customer and prospect base, including offerings of competitors and partners
* Manage the requirements phases of software solutions
* Launch new products and product features
* Develop and deliver marketing plans, positioning, messaging, presentations, demos and sales tools in support of launches
* Interface with sales team and customers: Be the product and subject matter expert
* Collaborate with Marketing Program Managers to support demand generation activities with compelling messages and offers
* Provide targeted sales tools (presentations, data sheets and website content) in support of sales efforts (sales teams and online campaigns) to generate revenue
Skills:
* 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in B to B product marketing, software solutions marketing in the technology sector
* Must have a software engineering background
* Must have marketing experience taking software solutions to market for SMB and enterprise customers
* Experience creating high impact software solution marketing tools, marketing collateral, industry position papers, web content and high-visibility thought leadership articles
* Strong marketing analytics combined with business, communications and information technology knowledge
* Strong writing skills are a must
* Knowledge of mobility technologies a strong plus
* BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or similar
