Job Title: Marketing Associate
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Position Summary: To plan, develop, and implement marketing programs in support of the 2012 marketing plan, and as defined by the Director of Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate company participation at conferences. Provide marketing support to leverage and promote AOP's conference activity.
• Maintain database, plan and implement lead nurturing campaigns. Measure, evaluate and improve as needed.
• Produce quarterly sales support kit. Work with internal and external resources to develop components.
• Monitor and update website as appropriate.
• Define program metrics and report regularly
Scope:
• Drive/coordinate with multiple internal departments, including sales, product management, design, community, and executives.
• Work with external marketing agencies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and some marketing experience
• Experience with conferences, direct marketing a plus
• Ability to create programs from scratch, to come up with new approaches, to clearly articulate and sell those new ideas to key stakeholders
• Competent at writing and/or editing marketing documents
• Organized, efficient, able to prioritize in support of company goals
• Metric driven; able to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
• Strong communication skills, for dealing with all levels of the company as well as external agencies and organizations.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced, start-up environment
Location: Preference for San Francisco, California area.
