Business Analyst with Downstream Oil and Gas Experience

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 As the Programme Initiatives Business Analyst (BA), you will assist with the benefits tracking and gathering requirements to enhance and improve processes, templates, tools, and other initiatives. The Programme Initiatives BA will help collect anecdotal benefits from sites and interpret and evaluate data to show where the team is helping improve site's reliability, margin and other priorities. In addition, this role will be responsible for gathering information and determining requirements needed to provide continuous visibility and to improve communication with all stakeholders.

 

In this role, you will also collaborate with Programme Team members to retrieve information and to communicate stakeholder request and needs. The BA role will be a key member of the Programme SharePoint team and will require knowledge of SharePoint 2010. This role will require a good understanding of functionality and file structure to assist with Programme related SharePoint tasks.

Ø  Must have:  Refinery Experience a plus Oil & Gas Experience  - 1 year(s)

Ø  Excellent communication and documentation skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with internal customers and stakeholders

Ø  Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills

Ø  Excellent Microsoft Office Skills; MS Access required

Ø  Proficient in SharePoint 2010; ability to create lists, training team members on features and helping to improve the programme site structure and governance

Ø  Ability to facilitate meeting and trainings to assess needs and review data gathered

Ø  Work with Project Managers, Regional Implementation Leads, Change Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure correct information documented and all parties are informed

Ø  Continue improving processes and seeking ways enhance both communication with stakeholders and data requirements, retrieval, and output.

Ø  3+years of experience in similar Business Analyst roles

Ø  Capacity to thrive under pressure, tight deadlines and work with highly passionate individuals.

Ø  Good Interpersonal skills, active listening skills, and displays good team work ethics
