We are looking for an Online Community Administrator for a large enterprise technical community. The Community Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of the Community through governance enforcement, user training and reporting, and providing support for Community users. The ideal candidate will be highly service-oriented and Internet savvy with a basic understanding of web technologies and best practices.
This is a 40 hours per week, onsite role for a 4 month period (extensions are highly likely) in either Sunnyvale, CA or RTP, NC. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 SolutionsÂ' employee.
Responsibilities:
ÂFirst level of support for internal and external Community users
ÂProvide Community training and documentation to users
ÂReview Community requests and determine appropriate responses
ÂUnderstand the overall Community strategy and roadmap to make decisions in adherence to it
ÂCommunity administration activities such as creating new spaces, managing user permissions, moving spaces, deleting spaces, creating new groups, managing widgets, spam control and clean-up
ÂWork across teams to resolve user and platform issues
ÂWork with external teams on requests that require vendor involvement
ÂWork with external teams to resolve technical issues
ÂReport on Community activity and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the Community and Community Programs
Requirements:
Â3-5 years experience as a community manager or administrator for a large enterprise Community
ÂUnderstanding of HTML and CSS, web publishing technologies, production and best practices
ÂExperience working cross-functionally and providing service to different levels of expertise
ÂExcellent customer service/support skills; excellent communication skills
ÂPrevious experience in online/social media marketing and/or customer service
ÂExperience managing Jive based communities preferred
