Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Service Provider Marketing Communications Consultant who will support the Signature Partner program at our technology client in San Jose, CA.

This area of the business can be challenging, as different solution teams may have competing business goals. The Marcom consultant will be savvy enough to understand the importance of aligning to the corporate priorities and develop a relationship with solution teams to help them understand which business priorities to which they can align. The consultant will deliver the strategic Marketing Communications plan for the Service Provider Signature Partner program. This will include collaboration with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts for input, management of content development and review cycles, driving and tracking timeline and budgets, vendor management and capture/reporting of program feedback and metrics. This is a global role, with some stakeholders located in different regions.

Responsibilities:

* Specific technology expertise is not required; however, experience with B2B business models and multi-tier sales channels for the delivery of technology solutions is required
* Experience partnering with marketing teams on the development of customized marketing messages for specific targets is critical
* Expertise with a broad set of online and offline marketing communications tactics is required
* Ability to project manage multiple deliverables against a launch timeline is required
* Create communications with unique messages by partner type to provide awareness and visibility for specific programs
* Review, edit and deliver content that supports the communications plan, including web updates, web page creation, content creation for social media and newsletters, video production, collateral creation (e.g. overview presentations in PowerPoint, two-page program overview documents, FAQs)
* Ensure all content and communications are written in clear, simple, actionable language keeping the partner in mind at all times
* Collaborate with internal teams to execute program plans (e.g. web team, brand team, social media team, etc.)
* Advise on execution strategy of marketing communications (e.g. roll out plans).

Skills:

* 7 to 10 years of partner marketing and/or communications strategy experience
* Marketing communications to partners is preferable
* Familiarity with networking technology and industry
* Experience creating and delivering marketing communications deliverables
* Experience with marketing content production required
* Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and work with corporate review teams to ensure brand compliance
* Ability to manage external vendors
* Project management experience
* Proven success working on cross-functional, cross-cultural and virtual teams
* Must be self-motivated and able to proactively create new relationships across teams to get work done
* Must be a good listener and able to connect with people to help with the alignment process to business priorities
* Must be able to see through all of the tactical requests for the larger strategic value and prioritize which efforts are of highest impact
* BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred


Rate: D.O.E. per week, as W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)

Location: 40% onsite at clientÂ's offices in San Jose, CA. and 60% work from home. No phone calls please

Hours/duration: 9/30/2013 to 9/19/2014.
