We are seeking an online and offline community-building visionary who can develop and execute strategies for engaging with TechSoup global audience in the US and 49 countries around the world.

The Senior Community Manager will report to the Senior Director, Global Media and oversee a team that is responsible for the organizationÂ's social media strategy and community engagement strategy for TSGÂ's flagship site, TechSoup.org, providing technology information and access to donated products for nonprofit organizations, as well as a suite of other technology services for the social sector including NGOsource, a service that accelerates global philanthropy, and NetSquared, which fosters technology for social innovation. Who We Are:

TechSoup Global is a non-profit social enterprise that has been successful in creating a suite of high impact services that facilitate corporate philanthropy and benefit community service organizations in a financially sustainable model. For over 26 years, our mission has been to work toward the day when every community service organization on the planet has access to the technology resources and information they need to achieve their own missions. Founded in 1987, we currently have 192 staff members in offices in Warsaw, London and San Francisco, and an annual budget of about $30 million.

Why work for TechSoup Global?

Since the founding of TechSoup Global in 1987, our aim has been to harness the power of technology — not for technologyÂ's sake, but as a means to accelerate social impact. We believe that a strong civil society is as critical to local communities as healthy business and government sectors. And we believe technology has a significant role to play in strengthening organized civil society — by democratizing access to information and resources to achieve effective, system-changing outcomes. This belief inspires us and drives us to continue working with our partners to deliver relevant, innovative, and scalable programs. With the support of 90 (and counting) leading technology companies — including Microsoft, Adobe, Symantec, Cisco, Intuit, and Redemtech — TechSoup Global and its network have reached more than 384,000 nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) around the world. To date, we cumulatively distributed more than 10 million software and hardware solutions and enabled recipients in 52 countries to save more than US$3.4 billion in IT expenses.

Together with our partners around the world in the TechSoup Global Network, we strive to ensure that technology solutions are complemented by practical, locally relevant educational content. We engage a vibrant, active community to share knowledge and resources on technology for social benefit. In 2012, we had 3.8 million unique visitors to our websites from 190 countries and delivered newsletters around the world to more than 300,000 subscribers in 16 languages. We see enormous potential in strengthening our core capabilities: eligibility services, social sector data, and community-oriented technology innovations. We see new relationships to be brokered among our various stakeholders, which include foundations and corporations, government agencies and NGOs, social enterprises and intermediaries, public libraries, and individual volunteers working on all kinds of social challenges.

No phone calls, please.
TechSoup Global is dedicated to creating and supporting an environment of openness, trust, and fun where peoples differences are valued and respected and where people of diverse backgrounds participate fully in the organization. We believe that the diverse cultures and perspectives of our staff will help us better serve our clients. TechSoup Global is an equal opportunity organization and will not allow discrimination based upon race, color, creed, religion, sex, marital status, domestic partner status, ancestry, national origin, weight, height, physical or mental handicap, pregnancy, medical condition, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship, veteran status, AIDS/HIV status, age, or socioeconomic background.
