Systems Programmer Analyst: HP-UX, SAS-Austin, TX
Length: 6 months Contract

Their Supply Chain organization plays an essential role in their success by ensuring delivery of competitive, high-quality, cost-effective products on time with excellent service.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
The computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) team is a key part of the Supply Chain organization. As a CIM SPC Systems Programmer Analyst, your responsibilities on the CIM team include, but are not limited to:
· Programming in SAS in a UNIX environment.
· Creating/Modifying existing statistical process control (SPC) programs per customer requirements.
· Identifying architecture/system improvements and implementing them.
· Coding and testing software changes on a Test/Development system.
· Deploying new programs to a Production environment following specific Change Management rules.
· Interacting with customers/engineers/managers for program completeness and accuracy.
· Working with Equipment Integration programmers for data transfer from process tools.
· Documenting changes and test results.
· Interacting with other IT professionals such as UNIX administrators and database experts.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with experience in software development. In addition, strong problem-solving, verbal and written communication, inter-group coordination, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills are required.
Requirements
· BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering
· Experience in SAS
· The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with experience in software development.
· 2+ years software development experience in an HP-UX environment.
· Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communication, inter-group coordination, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills are required.
Desired/Additional Skills:
· Experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing
· Experience in ORACLE and SQL
· Experience in Tcl/Tk
