Responsibilities

We have an opening for a Senior Software Engineer in our NEXS division, which designs custom CAD software for our electrical failure analysis and circuit edit tools. The NEXS software suite supports a wide range of applications, including CAD navigation with DCG hardware, third party links with EDA tools, and a new application which automates electrical failure analysis tasks. Our software integrates multiple third-party libraries and tool kits.

The job involves building and maintaining end-user applications for semiconductor diagnosis and yield analysis. Any exposure to CAD tools for semiconductor fabrication would be very helpful. The individual will take ownership of existing products and explore and recommend a new GUI for our flagship product.

Qualifications

Required

·         Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science with 5+ years of technical experience in software development or a MS degree in engineering or computer science

·         Proficiency in Java, C/C++, STL, on both Windows and Linux/UNIX platform

·         Experience with Cross Platform GUI Software Development Tool Kits (SDK)

·         Well versed in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies

Preferred

·         Experience with source control management (SCM)

·         Experience with python, tcl

·         Knowledge of TCP/IP and Socket programming

·         Knowledge of EDA/semiconductor industry
